What's with the two names?

"Callers" is planned as a series (and, eventually, multimedia IP). "Emergence" is book 1.

Read it! lol. No, at its core, "Emergence" is a story about a young girl with forbidden power navigating a world where power defines you.

What genre is Callers?

We have it listed as a New Adult Science Fantasy Adventure. But, it's basically anime in book form.

Why are they called "Callers"?

Because "conjurers" sounded weird and, "summoners" is done to death lol.

What are those symbols?

Sigils. There are 11 Symbols associated with Callers. The 9 Sigils (Star, Storm, Plant, Beast, Gate (which has 3), Metal, Blood), the Augment Icon, and the Order Charm. The Callers logo is a version of the Order Charm that features all but the Metal and Blood Sigils.

Can my kid read it?

There is some scant vulgarity (F**k and s**t, mostly) throughout the dialogue, though not a lot. We recommend it to anyone 13+ (16+ in the US).

Is there any "spice"?

Not in Emergence, no.

Is there romance?

Yes, some, built slowly throughout the series.​

Is there any black or brown representation?

While the story takes place on a fictional world and features entirely fabricated 'races', most of the cultures are derived from cultures on Earth. Through that lens, yes. There are prominent Black, Latino, Asian, and Middle Eastern characters.

Is there any LGBTQ+ representation?

Not much in "Emergence." However, a great deal is planned for the rest of the series.

When are the rest of the books coming out?

We have a few projects planned for "Emergence" (audiobook, a YouTube show, etc.) that will take a bit to do. After that, we plan to sit down and pen the remainder of the series. We estimate we'll begin writing in July 2025, barring any unforeseen circumstances. Our aim is to have the next release ready before Dec. 2025. We hate to keep our readers waiting, but we want to ensure the quality of the work.
