Locals whisper of some kind of creature slaughtering wanderers in the woods near Cana. Six sapien travelers were said to be found with their “necks sliced open” by “something wicked sharp,” about two months ago. Thought to be razor wolves. Canines deny involvement. Bodies were fed to hogs.

Spoke to Fenrir, a Canine scout. Says there's no way a Canine was behind the killings. Canines only use razor wolves on strong Callers. Consistent with known customs. Wish I could've examined the victims.

Some kids found two men dead in an abandoned building. Throats cut open. ID’d them as Buddy Ham and Germany Jones, both known associates of Quinn. Some kind of 3-pronged dagger left stabbed into Jones’ open mouth. Definitely connected.

I think I'm being watched. Just found a dagger in my back door matching the one from Jones. I gotta be getting close. Too close. I'm sending Mya and the kids to stay with her sister while I'm on this, just to be safe.
