Welcome to CallersBooks
Where fantasy, sci-fi, and drama meet!

Being the descendant of one of the founding families of Avenir, it's no surprise that greatness was in the destiny of one Valon Durey. However, even the most optimistic analysts couldn't have predicted his volcanic rise to power and wealth. Mr. Durey claimed control of Durey Industries the same week as his 21st birthday, becoming CEO mere days after just becoming an adult and making him the youngest figurehead in Avenir. That same year, he helped support partner company, YamaCom, through the passing of their founder and CEO, Chojiro Yamamaru, a long time friend of the Durey family.
While Durey Industries has long been on the cutting edge of transportation and infrastructure, the young executive has pushed the industry forward with such conveniences as the Hover Rail and automobile. A long time advocate for the peaceful coexistence of sapiens and Callers, his private company, ValTech, has been leading the charge in developing defense technologies such as the Dampener cells, keeping our streets safe and fair for all.
Mr. Durey’s shrewd business sense has seen him have a firm hand in many aspects of life in Avenir, and especially Tehopolis. Finance, media, infrastructure, energy, telecommunication, and even medicine have all directly benefited from Mr. Durey’s influence. So, it only comes naturally that the people would name him “The Lord of Avenir,” a moniker the AAUC would officially recognise with the honorary title of Chancellor in Lunadec of 3180.
“Communication is the veins of society.” - Chojiro Yamamaru.
Tehopolis is known as “The City Without Limits,” for a reason. And, with his talent, charisma, and brilliant leadership, Mr. Valon Durey has made monumental strides in helping us live up to that name, and making Avenir the bastion of order and stability it is, today.
